Key initiatives

Measures against COVID-19

• We have collaborated with industirial physicians to create an internal manual for preventing the spread of the novel coronavirus. This manual has been shared with all employees.
• We utilize telework and staggered commuting systems to ensure infection prevention measures for employees.
• We strictly instruct employees with suspicious symptoms or suspected close contact to refrain from coming into the office. Industrial physicians and the HR department work together to manage appropriate timing for medical consultations and return to work.
• We have established a salary guarantee system (100% of salary) for employees who are required to stay home due to suspected close contact.
• In the workplace, we take preventive measures such as mandating to wear a mask (with mask distribution), promoting frequent hand washing and gargling, and installing alcohol-based disinfectants.
• We also practice social distancing in office areas and avoid face-to-face seating, maintain spaces between chairs, and install partitions in the employee cafeteria.

Influenza prevention measures

• We provide financial assistance (JPY 2,000) for flu vaccines and conduct group vaccinations through the dispatch of physicians. In the fiscal year 2019, there were 2,388 applicants for the financial assistance, and approximately 35% of employees utilized the program.
